The Bob Dylan SACDs

I totally lucked into another of the now out-of-print SACD Bob Dylan releases. Hastings was having a 55¢ shipping sale for Cinco de Mayo, and as one of the few outlets that specifically lists the SACD discs as part of their offerings, I went and checked again. Usually the site lists these titles as unavailable, but this time "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" showed up as four dollars and change.
I had to reload the page to believe it, and I took a screen shot of the order when it was completed in fear that I'd have to return the standard edition I received. But sure enough, yesterday's mail brought my newest golden wonder!
It sounds remarkable! In fact, it is such a faithful document of the original that the splices and switches in channel become recognizable. I'm not complaining, though. In fact, I'm glad for something as close to the tapes in Sony's vaults as possible.
As an addendum, I found it hard to find a listing of which Dylan CDs got the SACD treatment. All Music lists the individual tracks in the 15-disc box, but it's a real pain to guess which songs were on which albums. In the end I went to the best kept secret on the internet for things like this: half.com. Owned by eBay, they offer you all the catalog information that you get from eBay when you list a product, but without the hassle of setting up and deleting a dummy product.
